Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Brake Safety Day
Out of 10,091 inspections performed on May 26th, 1,273 vehicles were placed our of service for brake-related items. These inspections were performed in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

The majority of violations causing vehicles out-of-service conditions is brake related according to the CVSA, and of those conducted in late May most of the vehicles placed out-of-service were in the U.S.
